Many have speculated if users will be able to read Microsoft Office and PDF documents on the iPhone. The answer came this morning in form of Apple’s guided iPhone tour. While demonstrating the iPhone’s email function the announcer states:

“This email has a PDF and a Microsoft Word document attached. To view the attachments I simply tap on them. I can pinch to zoom in and tap to drag around.”

At this point there’s no further details for any of the other Microsoft Office Programs such as Excel or Powerpoint.
