iPhone Supports Airplane Mode

Apple’s Guided Online Tour already revealed support for Microsoft Word and Adobe PDF formats as well as real time traffic in Google Maps. Last but least, the video also revealed an airplane mode while demonstrating the settings menu of the phone.

“On an airplane after liftoff you can only use your iPhone if you turn on Airplane mode. Notice the airplane icon appears in the upper left. When airplane mode is activated, no cell-phone, WiFi, or bluetooth signals are emitted from the iPhone.

The settings menu also shows that there doesn’t seem to be an easy way to choose your own iTunes ring-tones.
