iPhone Displays Real Time Traffic

In addition to Microsoft Word and Adobe PDF support, another tidbit users were able to learn through Apple’s Guided Online Tour was the addition of real time traffic in Google Maps.

Pressing on the little car symbol in the lower right of your Google Maps screen will display real time traffic in the area.

“Tap on the traffic button and get an up to date view on the local surroundings. Green lines indicate everything that is flowing smoothly, while red and yellow lines mean problems ahead.”

Apple has said that the iPhone does not have GPS. In addition, the video shows that you have to enter your own location before you can enter your destination.

Do you have different information?

the only thing stopping the iphone supporting gps is the fact that they have blocked the bluetooth from working with any thing but headsets. f they opened it up you could connect a bluetooth gps like i used to with all my other phones!

we want an update!
