This story is really just an excuse for buttoned-up corporate type bloggers to post this pretty pink picture. The story started at News of the World, a British tabloid, and quickly spread to more respectable publications like Macworld UK and Business 2.0
Let me be the first to say that the iGasm has nothing to worry about. It’s hard to confuse with an Apple product, being that it’s complicated, ugly, and difficult to use:

Apple doesn’t seem to take issue with the product or it’s name; the iGasm isn’t the first device to “interface” with an iPod. Check out the iBuzz and and OhMiBod:

Apparently it’s the ad that’s Apple’s problem. While it is obviously a blatant copy of the popular iPod silhouette campaign, it seems unlikely that consumers will have a problem keeping these products separated. Or will they?
